KODEA Cough Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Codeine and Triprolidine, which relieves dry cough. Codeine is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Triprolidine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.

KODEA Cough Syrup may be taken with or without food and it’s better to take it in a dose and duration advised by the doctor. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember.

It may cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting, constipation. This medicine may cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus. While taking this it is better to avoid alcohol intake, as it may worsen your side effects.
