Amloria Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of depression and neuropathic pain. It is used in patients who are intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.

Amloria Tablet works by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and stops the movement of pain signals from nerves to the brain. It can also be used to treat tension headache and migraine. It is taken by mouth with or without food. Take it at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent level of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Never skip any doses and finish full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Remember regular monitoring of blood sugar is important as this medicine may elevate or reduce your sugar levels. Some common side effects of this medicine includes dryness in mouth, blurred vision, increased heart rate and constipation. Initially, this medicine may cause sudden drop in the blood pressure when you change positions, so it is better to rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
